hello beautiful strangers and day one listeners ❣️ unfortunately we need to cancel our
upcoming euro tour- we did not make this decision lightly, as we love playing
shows and singing with new crowds every night-we hope to make it out there in
the future and appreciate so deeply everyone who has already bought a ticket.
Along with this we wanna let you know that we’ll be taking a brief break. we
are human, as are you, and we wanna be our best selves before hitting the road
or releasing new music. In need of a little reset, and hope that on the other
side we can all scream mess u made together ❣️ Thank you for your patience, thank
you for streaming SAYS and making memories to our music. we love you all so

MICHELLE is een New Yorkse band die bekendstaat om hun mix van r&b, indiepop en soulvolle grooves. Hun eerdere werk, waaronder 'HEATWAVE' (2018) en 'AFTER DINNER WE TALK DREAMS' (2022), weerspiegelde de levendige energie van hun thuisstad. Voor hun nieuwste album, 'Songs About You Specifically', zocht de band echter een nieuw perspectief. Ze trokken zich terug in een huis in Ojai, Californië, waar ze de stilte en introspectie omarmden. Dit leidde tot een album dat zich kenmerkt door kwetsbaarheid en ruimte, met een mix van dromerige shoegaze, funky riffs en '80s synthpop, en waarin ze openhartig hun verlangens, spijt en zelfreflectie delen.
