Every last Tuesday of the month, LADIDA takes place in Paradiso. A multidisciplinary music program series in which Paradiso collaborates with Amsterdam-based creators and organizations from all city districts.
LADIDA is for the adventurous music lover, introducing you to a diverse group of people, artistic expressions and themes/stories/thoughts/views you might not have encountered before. Expect to have eye-opening conversations, co-creational workshops and experimental evenings. All this in combination with good music and performances.

About Word Up
Word Up is an organization and community that promotes social inclusion and diversity through spoken word poetry and related musical and/or performance expression. Launched in 2015, Word Up unites people, passionate about creative self-expression and encourages them to engage with the world around them, and use spoken word poetry as an instrument through which they can explore and better understand their culture, their society, and ultimately, themselves. Elyzabeth Gorman
Elyzabeth Gorman is a writer and storyteller based in the Netherlands. Her company, Badass Tours, has led hundreds of people through Amsterdam while focusing on BIPOC, Jewish, LGBT+, and women’s history. Her historical storytelling includes performances at Amsterdam’s Van Gogh Museum, Groningen’s Grand Theater, and Mezrab House of Stories. She also wrote a storytelling tour of De Burcht van Berlage for the International Institute of Social History and the Jewish History Museum, which received over 900 visitors during its run. Her writing includes historical fiction column Ask A Badass, as well as cultural news and business communications.

Ley is a true RnB baby who considers the turntable his crib. With sounds that are often described as smooth and cozy he knows how to please the crowd and create a positive vibe.Â
His expertise as R&B DJ has led to many performances. He performs weekly in and oustide Amsterdam, works with artists like sor and Black Acid and performed as support act for Lucky Daye. For the first LADIDA he curated a special playlist with the theme love, below you can find a little teaser. Prepare for a night with the right mood.

Paradiso is gevestigd aan de Weteringschans 6-8. Dat is dicht bij het Leidseplein en goed bereikbaar met het openbaar vervoer (metro 52 en diverse trams). In de buurt van Paradiso zijn ook een aantal parkeergarages.
