Jude Johnstone bracht vorig jaar haar vijfde album ‘Quiet Girl’ uit. De Amerikaanse singer-songwriter bevestigt met dat album wederom dat ze tot de top van de Amerikaanse songschrijvers behoort. Voor haar eigen carrière een vlucht nam schreef ze al veel nummers voor een groot aantal artiesten waaronder Trisha Yearwood, Stevie Nicks, Johnny Cash, Bonnie Raitt, Emmylou Harris en Bette Midler. Sinds 2002 schrijft ze ook voor zichzelf. In dat jaar debuteerde ze met het soulvolle countrypop album ‘Coming of Age’. Vanavond wordt ze begeleidt door de gitarist Richard Feridan.
