A personal message from JoJo:

''While there is new hope and positivity surrounding the Covid vaccine, there is still immense uncertainty about touring this year. With that being said, and after careful consideration, I have decided to cancel the good to know tour (both U.S. and U.K./Europe). You can contact your point of purchase for a FULL refund. At this point there is no other choice and I am BEYOND sorry to anyone this inconveniences. I know how precious your time and money is, especially right now. I’m genuinely heartbroken and devastated. 

I miss touring and having the privilege of connecting with you with every fiber of my being. These times are calling for us to stay flexible and try to not be attached to how we think things are going to go. Some things are just completely out of our control. 

One thing I can promise though: I will be working diligently on trying to plan a new tour (and new album 😉) for 2022.

De Amerikaanse zangeres JoJo bewandelt een ongebruikelijk carrièrepad: ze brak in 2004 op slechts dertienjarige leeftijd door met de gigantische hit ‘’Leave (Get Out)’’. Ze schreef hiermee geschiedenis als de jongste persoon ooit met een nummer één-hit in de Amerikaanse Billboard-hitlijst. Met de release van haar tweede album ‘’The High Road’’ in 2006, samenwerkingen met onder andere Timbaland en tournees met Joe Jonas en Big Time Rush bewees de jonge popster uit Boston geen eendagsvlieg te zijn. Toch zat er iets niet helemaal lekker: JoJo stond onder sterke controle van de platenmaatschappij en kreeg niet de vrijheid om haar eigen stempel te drukken op haar muziek. Dat is nu – ruim 16 jaar later – totaal anders. Ze verliet haar label en bracht in 2016 haar derde album ‘’Mad Love’’ uit, waarop we kennis maken met de nieuwe JoJo. Op het album is een stijlvol en volwassen r&b-geluid te horen en werkt ze samen met sterren als Alessia Cara en Wiz Khalifa. In 2019 bracht JoJo wederom een aantal nieuwe tracks uit, waarop ze ook stijlen als soul en jazz verkent en samenwerkt met o.a. PJ Morton. Op 26 september 2021 komt JoJo terug naar Nederland voor een concert in Paradiso.
