De singer-songwriter James Walsh is bekend van de Britse band Starsailor. Aan het begin van deze eeuw was de band zeer succesvol met nummers als ‘Good Souls’ en ‘Alcoholic’. Emotionele Britpop waar de stem van Walsh een grote stempel op drukte. Na vier albums gemaakt te hebben met de band, besloot hij vorig jaar om zich tijdelijk te concentreren op een solocarrière. Vanavond zingt hij nummers van zijn solowerk en van Starsailor. Zijn nieuwe album ‘Turning Point’ komt 7 april uit.
