Tijdens Noodlanding! wordt de Kelder van Paradiso omgetoverd tot Dondergrondse: dé plek waar nieuwe indie initiatieven, underground live-acts en dj’s bijeen worden gebracht. Pak veelbelovende, nieuwe bands mee in kleine setting, maak ondertussen je eigen DIY fotoreportage met onze wegwerpcamera’s en sluit vervolgens af met knallende alternatieve dj-sets in het holst van de nacht.

SALLY DIGE - live † Vancouver, Canada (Night School Records)

Seductive shadow movements, harlot red lipstick, VHS vanity, sharp eye liner and a wardrobe to die for. Her vivacious performance and dark sexuality immediately summons a spirit similar to Annie Lennox of Eurythmics fame. But in her own unique way, she personifies the idea that a synth vixen knows no era. So really, it’s not so much a throwback. It’s an ode to the future.

FOOM - dj set † Denver, USA (Modern Witch)

With very limited tape and CD/R releases on labels such as Disaro and Clan Destine Records, Kristy Foom's Modern Witch has become a true underground reference for creepy, ritualistic dance music, in the muddy but oh so fascinating waters between dark wave and minimal synth. And that's exactly what to expect from her vinyl-only DJ set. Be prepared to be bewitched.

Daylight's wasted on her, this femme fatale only comes out at night. Not only does she organize shows in various venues, most recently the Grauzone Festival in the Melkweg (edition 2 will be held the very night after this Dark Allies: https://www.facebook.com/events/160625524134274/">https://www.facebook.com/events/160625524134274/), you can also regularly find her behind the turntables with her impressive collection of vinyl. Postpunk, cold wave, synthpop; often dark and doomy, but always danceable.

RAVAGE! RAVAGE! - dj set † Amsterdam (Dark Allies)

Ravage! Ravage! is an electronic-pop foursome from The Netherlands. They “eat glass candy, swing like Siouxsie and splice their synthpop with distorted guitars”, and, according to Dutch online multimedia channel 3voor12, bring “Ibiza entertainment from hell”. Tonight Ravage! Ravage! will do a blitzkrieg of a DJ set, featuring nodisco from Crystal Castles to Fad Gadget, from Chromatics to Bobby Orlando and from The Knife to Soft Cell.
