Met de virale hit 'Mooo!' stond Doja Cat afgelopen zomer op elke timeline. Dit allemaal dankzij een absurdistische videoclip en songteksten zoals “Bitch, I’m a cow, I’m not a cat, I don’t say ‘Meow’". Maar Doja Cat is absoluut meer dan de meme. Katy Perry en Chance The Rapper zijn fan van de rapper en zangeres uit Los Angeles, die in 2014 al van zich horen met de zweverige R&B track 'So High'. Haar debuutalbum 'Amala' staat vol met lome, maar pakkende neo-soul en R&B.
