De band Die! Die! Die! combineert Joy Division-achtige baslijnen, overstuurde gitaren à la Sonic Youth en bezeten vocalen waar Kurt Cobain nog van zou schrikken. Het trio uit Nieuw Zeeland kwam in 2003 voor het eerst bij elkaar en vertrok naar Chicago om daar met Steve Albini het titelloze debuut op te nemen. In 2007 kwam het tweede album ‘Promises, Promises’ uit en sindsdien is de band bijna non-stop aan het optreden en heeft een onverwoestbare live-reputatie opgebouwd. Keihard, vuig en ruig spelen de leden Andrew Wilson, Michael Prain en Lachlan Anderson, alsof hun leven ervan afhangt.
