After the excitement and chaos of New Year’s Eve, Paradiso keeps the celebration going on January 1st. The club opens its doors for a day party with a carefully curated line-up of international and local DJs. Expect a mix of Chicago house, disco, and Italo.

Champagne and free oliebollen (first come, first served) will be served to toast the beginning of the new year.

Lil' Louis

Lil Louis, pioneer and icon of house music, is an artist, producer, songwriter, DJ, author, and director who helped shape Chicago’s early house scene. As the son of blues musician Bobby Sims, he began DJing at twelve and later organized one of the first raves. His 1987 hit 'French Kiss' sold over six million copies, alongside platinum albums and collaborations with artists like Jay-Z and Lil’ Kim.

Gerd Janson

Gerd Janson, born in Romania and raised near Frankfurt, is a renowned DJ, producer, and founder of Running Back Records. Inspired early by a Sven Väth tape, he immersed himself in Germany’s club scene and wrote for Groove and Spex. As a longtime Robert Johnson resident, he now DJs worldwide and produces solo and as part of Tuff City Kids, blending house, disco, Italo, and garage.

CC:DISCO!

CC:DISCO! grew up in rural Victoria and has become a globally loved DJ known for her uplifting sound, instantly connecting with crowds at clubs and festivals worldwide. With releases on Phantasy Sound and her own label Miami Daddy, she stays community-focused through Club CCC and Lisbon’s underground scene. Her artistry makes space for others, reminding us every role counts.

Suze Ijó

Rotterdam-based DJ and radio host Suze Ijó discovered her love for music early through dance and record collecting. As a former member of First Floor, she now hosts 'Ba Tende' on Operator, exploring rhythms from West Africa, the West Indies, and Latin America as a tribute to her roots. Her DJ sets blend aquatic, analogue, soulful, and polyrhythmic sounds, always creating a sense of community.

Makèz

Makèz, a duo united by a love for house music, creates layered, genre-blending electronic tracks inspired by Slum Village, D’Angelo, Moodymann, and Theo Parrish. Drawing from hip hop, jazz, and disco, they bridge underground grooves and wider audiences. Releases on No Art, Classic Music Company, Heist, and Balance culminated in 2023’s international breakthrough, 'Downstream'.

Route naar Paradiso

Paradiso is gevestigd aan de Weteringschans 6-8. Dat is dicht bij het Leidseplein en goed bereikbaar met het openbaar vervoer (metro 52 en diverse trams). Je kunt je fiets gratis en bewaakt parkeren in de ondergrondse parkeergarage op het Leidseplein. In de buurt van Paradiso zijn meerdere parkeergarages.
