This program is part of Summer Dance Forever — an international hip-hop dance festival that brings together dancers and dance lovers from around the world for a week-long celebration. The festival showcases a wide variety of dance performances, next-level battles, soulful club nights, and energizing workshops to refresh and boost your skills. Summer Dance Forever takes place from 19–25 August at Paradiso, ITA, and DeLaMar, with a free program at Melkweg and Vondelpark Openluchttheater, and workshops at ATD and Foundation. Club Paradiso

Get ready for a night dripping in slick R&B grooves and smooth moves. We’re throwing it back to Maxwell, Aaliyah, SOS Band, and more late-night jams that never go out of style.

Juicy Fruit isn’t your average club night — it’s a vibe, so leave them sweats at home. Think silk shirts, leather fits, perfume on point. Let’s bring back that golden energy where everyone showed up and showed out.

This club night features a special dance showcase: an excerpt from “Opening” by Bouzid Ait Atmane & Saïdo Lehlouh, performed by Karim Ahansal aka “Pépito”, Judicaël Charlyngan Mathurine aka “Cjm’s”, Maryne Esteban aka “Reverse”, Nelson Ewande, Chris Fargeot, Brieuc Le Gall, Sarah Naït Hamoud, Cintia Golitin, Oomoo Sy, Jimmy Yudat. Mr Wix

Mr Wix's all-round style, digging deep in the crates and spinning everything from hip hop to broken beats made him a well-known DJ in the Dutch scene. Perfecting his skills on the decks since the mid nineties, his career took off in 1999 when he landed a monthly residency at Paradisos’s Bassline. At that time, Amsterdam's main Hip Hop/R&B night.

KC The Funkaholic

KC The Funkaholic has been an essential part of Amsterdam's nightlife since the 1980s. First as the man who filled the RoXY with soul, funk, and house, and now as one of the forces behind Summer Dance Forever and Super-Sonic Jazz. With his blend of music styles, vast musical knowledge, and dedication to creating an energetic and diverse dancefloor, KC The Funkaholic continues to inspire Amsterdam's club culture to this day.

Maey

Maey is an Amsterdam-based DJ and producer blending R&B, hip-hop, and electronic dance music. Her sound is fresh yet familiar. From DGTL and Lowlands to radio shows like Rinse FM, she bridges genres with ease. Maey aims to deliver groove, emotion, and a distinct electronic touch.

Route naar Paradiso

Paradiso is gevestigd aan de Weteringschans 6-8. Dat is dicht bij het Leidseplein en goed bereikbaar met het openbaar vervoer (metro 52 en diverse trams). Je kunt je fiets gratis en bewaakt parkeren in de ondergrondse parkeergarage op het Leidseplein. In de buurt van Paradiso zijn meerdere parkeergarages.
