Uniting the sounds of the motherlands and the islands, these two events have been pushing culture forward in Amsterdam for years.

Afrolosjes has been at the forefront of Afrobeats; a grassroots organization that emerged from Amsterdam South-East, representing the diverse sounds of Africa on festival stages, through their weekly radio show, and in clubs across the city.

Jamrock set the standard for Dancehall music in the Netherlands. Born out of the need to create a platform for Caribbean culture in Amsterdam, it laid the groundwork for countless artists, DJs, and creatives to build their careers from passion and community.

Now, these two cultural powerhouses come together in Parallel to celebrate shared roots, sound, and the future of the culture.
