
From Wednesday, November 13 to Sunday, November 17, 2024, the eighth edition of the Super-Sonic Jazz Festival will take place at Paradiso, De Duif, and the Vondelkerk in Amsterdam. Today, the festival announces the first names, including Venna, B. Cool-Aid, Butcher Brown, Emma-Jean Thackray, Lakecia Benjamin, and Lander & Adriaan.
Super-Sonic Jazz is a foundation focused on innovative artists operating within the universe of jazz. In addition to organizing the annual Super-Sonic Jazz Festival, music is released on their independent label, and concerts and jam sessions are organized throughout the year in collaboration with Paradiso. The festival first took place in 2017, and renowned names such as Thundercat, Robert Glasper, Ezra Collective, Kokoroko, Sons of Kemet, Steve Lacy, Domi and JD Beck, Yussef Dayes, Moses Sumney, and Hiatus Kaiyote have graced its lineup since then.
