Weinig muzikanten bewegen zich zo vrij tussen uiteenlopende genres als de mysterieuze Yves Tumor. De experimentele artiest combineert noise, rock, electronica, pop en triphop op een vloeiende, haast surrealistische manier. Door met sonische grenzen te spelen, slaagt die erin zichzelf en popmuziek steeds weer opnieuw uit te vinden.

Het in 2020 verschenen album 'Heaven To A Tortured Mind' gooide hoge ogen bij o.a. de New York Times, Rolling Stone, Pitchfork en The FADER. Ook de verwachtingen voor het nieuwste album 'Praise A Lord Who Chews But Which Does Not Consume; (Or Simply, Hot Between Worlds)' zijn hooggespannen: de plaat komt 17 maart uit via Warp en is geproduceerd door Noah Goldstein (Frank Ocean, Rosalía, Drake, Rihanna, Bon Iver) en gemixt door Alan Moulder (My Bloody Valentine, Nine Inch Nails).

Nation bestaat uit zanger Fresh Jame en producer Fundall, wiens melodieuze producties en dromerige popvocalen zowel rap-, electronica- als indierockfans aanspreken. Het duo uit Zuid-Californië speelde al in het voorprogramma van Yung Lean en zijn ook te horen op de laatste compilatie van het onafhankelijke label YEAR0001.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
