"Due to the ongoing pandemic we’re having to postpone the upcoming UK + EU shows, new dates will be announced in a few weeks. Keep hold of your tickets because when these shows happen we’re going to do everything possible to make them the best shows we’ve ever done. They will be our very first shows back after the pandemic, and the projects first shows in these countries ever. Anyone who wants a refund should contact their point of purchase. Lastly, after such a tough time for everyone words cannot describe how excited we are at the thought of of playing live for actual real humans again. We can’t wait.

Young Guv is de naam waaronder de Canadese Ben Cook aangrijpende indiepopmuziek maakt. De met nostalgie doordrenkte liedjes zijn een combinatie van powerpop en harmonieuze gitaarmuziek, waarvan de altijd slimme, herkenbare teksten de boventoon voeren. In 2019 verscheen het tweezijdige album GUV I & II, een wat meer traditionele rockplaat en een perfecte combinatie voor Cooks croonstem, majeurakkoorden en teksten over enge dingen in het leven.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
