De Amerikaanse folkband Wild Child rondom singer-songwriters Alexander Beggins en Kelsey Wilson maakt aanstekelijke folkmuziek die doet denken aan The Lumineers en First Aid Kit. In 2013 werd de band reeds uitgeroepen tot "Best Indie Act" én "Best Folk Act" op het jaarlijkse SXSW festival en in 2014 stond de band uit Austin (Texas) al in Paradiso tijdens London Calling. Alhoewel ze in de tussentijd solo ook albums hebben uitgebracht, bracht de pandemie ze weer samen en kwam er in 2023 toch het vijfde album 'End of the World' uit met wederom luchtige, poppy en soulvolle folknummers.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
