Wilco is al 30 jaar een baanbrekende kracht in de onafhankelijke muziek. De rockband meets alt-countrygroep uit Chicago heeft 13 studioalbums uitgebracht en meerdere Grammy's in de wacht gesleept. Ze hebben hun eigen platenlabel, dBpm Records, en het gerenommeerde Solid Sound festival opgericht. Het sextet, bestaande uit Jeff Tweedy, John Stirratt, Glenn Kotche, Pat Sansone, Nels Cline en Mikael Jorgensen, wordt nog steeds beschouwd als een live-krachtpatser, zoals NPR het omschreef: "Wilco op het podium zien is het beste van het beste horen."

Het nieuwste album van de band, 'Cousin', werd uitgebracht in 2023, gevolgd door de EP 'Hot Sun Cool Shroud' in 2024.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
