Arp Frique, het alter ego van Rotterdammer Niels Nieuborg, combineert samen met zijn band The Family de funky New York style live disco vibes met Caribische en Kaapverdische muziek. Na een succesvolle eerste EP die verscheen op Rush Hour, toerde de band langs festivals als Lowlands (NL), Open Source (D), Himmelstorm (DK). De eerste single 'Nos Magia' werd bovendien geselecteerd voor de lijst voor Track of the Year 2017 van Gilles Petersons Worldwide Awards. Nu is daar het debuutalbum 'The Colourful World of Arp Frique', met bijzondere samenwerkingen met onder meer de Kaapverdische legende Americo Brito, Surinaamse fluitist Ronald Snijders en afrobeat saxofonist Orlando Julius. Deze ADE ga je op in de kleurrijke wereld die Arp Frique heet.

Soundway Recording artiest XOA sluit aan met een tropical beats extravaganza dj-set.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
