Wednesday is een luidruchtige indierockband uit Asheville, North Carolina. Het vijftal maakt muziek die schommelt tussen alternatieve rock uit de jaren 90, shoegaze en americana, met hier en daar een lapsteelgitaar voor dat kenmerkende countrysnerpje. Dit najaar verschijnt hun nieuwe album 'Bleeds', de opvolger van het veelgeprezen 'Rat Saw God' uit 2023. De eerste single, 'Wound Up Here (By Holdin On)', is geïnspireerd op een verhaal over een verdrinking in West Virginia, en bevat een regel uit een dichtbundel van een vriend van Hartzman. Het is een voorbeeld van hoe literatuur, herinneringen en muziek bij Wednesday naadloos in elkaar overlopen.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
