Parallel welcomes back We The People Poetry Night to quench your poetic thirst and fulfil your poetic appetite. As always, the line-up of poetry, spoken word and music will serve food for thought and soul.
Feeling like doing some of the serving yourself? You can register for the open mic slot on the night. On top of that, you can serve some moves to poetic rhythms played by our DJ.
With performances from Xillan, Jowi Kemper, Kain Slim, Tasha Mishi and Sebastiaan 'Utju' Boot. More to be announced soon.
Performance languages vary. The event is hosted in English.

How to get to Parallel
Parallel is located at Buiksloterweg 5C in Amsterdam North, at the rear end of the Tolhuistuin building. To get there, catch one of the free ferries departing from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. Upon crossing the IJ river, take an immediate left and cross the Volewijck bridge. Turn right and continue walking until you reach Overhoeksplein. Here, you will find the Galgenveld bridge to your right. Crossing it, you will find the Tolhuistuin archway and Parallel’s entrance.
