Amsterdam based cultural platform We The People returns to Parallel to quench your poetic thirst and fulfill your poetic appetite. Join us on this summer night of spoken word poetry and (live) music in Parallel's beautiful garden.

About the open mic:

Visitors can register for the open mic slot on the night by filling out this registration form. Registrations are open from August 16-23.

This event is hosted in English, yet performance languages vary. The garden and venue are wheelchair accessible. A wheelchair accessible bathroom is inside the venue.

How to get to GARDEN (Parallel)

As GARDEN is a hidden gem, some navigation points might come in handy. Click here to watch a video guide of the route to Parallel from the Buiksloterweg ferry, including how to reach GARDEN by Day from there.

Head towards Parallel's new entrance, and turn left after passing the Tolhuistuin archway to enter the park. From there, follow the park path and the sound of music until arriving at your destination.
