De Britse band UNIVERSITY, afkomstig uit Crewe, brengt op 20 juni 2025 hun debuutalbum ‘McCartney, It’ll Be OK’ uit via Transgressive. Het album, opgenomen in Damon Albarn’s Studio 13 met producer Kwes Darko, balanceert brute noisepunk met melodie en absurdistische humor. De nieuwe single ‘Curwen’ is nu uit, en volgt op de virale track ‘Massive Twenty One Pilots Tattoo’. Na eerdere shows op SXSW en Pitchfork Paris speelt de band dit jaar o.a. op Outbreak Festival en London Calling in Paradiso.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
