‘Beacon’ is de langverwachte opvolger van het succesvolle debuutalbum ‘Tourist History’ van Two Door Cinema Club. De Ierse band, die doorbrak met hits als ‘Undercover Martyn’, ‘Something Good Can Work’ en ‘I Can Talk’, werkte dit keer samen met producer Jacknife Lee (U2 en Bloc Party). Het resultaat is een volwassen en vlot album, met daarop nog steeds de herkenbare frisse indiepop die de sympathieke groep eigen is.
