De garagerock en tribalband Tshegue staat op zondag 9 december in Paradiso. Faty Sy Savanet uit Kinshasa (Congo) en Nicolas Dacunha uit Parijs vormen samen Tshegue: “The hot new Paris-based band that mixes tribal sounds with garage rock" aldus VICE. Ze brachten in de zomer van 2017 hun debuut EP 'Survivor' uit. De muziekpers is ook lovend over hen: pop en punk met Afrikaanse drumpatronen vormen samen een sterke mix van cultuur en muzikale innovatie, aldus NPR Music. Tshegue maakt Afropunk: zij zingt, hij is van de latinpercussie. Samen vormen ze een krachtig duo op het podium. Ze stonden dit jaar al op Afropunk in Parijs, op Motel Mozaique en waren ook al te zien op Lowlands.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
