This event is upgraded from the Paradiso Upstairs Hall to Tolhuistuin Club. The schedule for doors and starting time also changed. Previously purchased tickets remain valid for the new location.
Sinds William Phillips in 2015 een Grammy won voor zijn songwritingbijdrage aan Sam Smith's 'Stay With Me', ging het hard voor de 35-jarige muzikant uit Londen. Hij bracht drie albums uit, stond op festivals als Coachella en Glastonbury en produceerde remixen voor artiesten als The Weeknd, Christine and the Queens en Chvrches.
De introverte elektronische producties van Tourist werken rustig toe naar een climax en doen denken aan het eerdere werk van Bonobo - voor wie Tourist eerder in het voorprogramma stond. Inmiddels ligt Tourists vierde album 'Inside Out' op de planken: een plaat waarop gerouwd wordt om het verlies van een dierbare en de geboorte van zijn dochter wordt gevierd.

In het voorprogramma van dit concert staat de Ierse zangeres en producer Fehdah. Met haar afro-geïnspireerde elektronische soultracks begint ze een steeds prominentere rol te krijgen in de snelgroeiende Ierse hiphop scene.

How to get to Tolhuistuin
Tolhuistuin (formerly Paradiso Noord) is located at IJpromenade 2 in Amsterdam North. A free ferry is departing from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. Turn left and you’ll walk into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance is used (Buiksloterweg 5C), which can be reached via the Overhoeksplein. Restaurant THT serves an extensive menu for any music lover – making a reservation is recommended.
