Tiny Ruins is een project van de in Engeland
geboren maar in Nieuw-Zeeland opgegroeide Hollie Fullbrook. Ze maakt
hypnotiserende liedjes, in de traditie van songwriters als Carole King en
Leonard Cohen. Soms lieflijk en fantasierijk dan weer schurend langs de randen
van de folk. Drie jaar na het onvolprezen debuut ‘Some Were Meant For Sea’
bracht Tiny Ruins dit jaar de mooie opvolger ‘Brightly Painted One’ uit.
