De in Hoofddorp geboren punkrock-troubadour Tim Vantol speelde in het verleden in verschillende punkrock- en hardcore bands, waaronder ook Antillectual. Tot hij enkele jaren geleden besloot om het over een iets andere boeg te gooien en over te stappen naar akoestische folk punk. Denk hierbij aan vakgenoten als Brian Fallon (Gaslight Anthem), Dallas Green (Alexisonfire) en natuurlijk Frank Turner (Million Dead) die ook allemaal hun elektrische gitaar (tijdelijk) inruilden voor een akoestische. Alleen of met band tourt Tim intensief door heel Europa. Hij ging mee op tour met Chuck Ragan, Dave Hause, The Menzingers en hij stond afgelopen april nog bij onze zuiderburen op Groezrock. Zijn nieuwe album, de opvolger van If We Go Down, We Will Go Together, is net uit en is getiteld Burning Desires.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
