The Thylacine concert is relocated from Paradiso to Tolhuistuin. The time schedule has changed as well: the doors open at 7:30 PM and the concert starts at 8:00 PM. Purchased tickets remain valid, you don’t have to do anything. All ticket buyers will receive an email with more details shortly.

Franse producer en multi-instrumentalist Thylacine maakt melodieuze electronica met een progressief randje. In zijn producties combineert hij synthesizers met traditionelere instrumenten als saxofoon en piano: een modus operandi die je ook terugziet in zijn veelal geïmproviseerde en wervelende livesets.

Sinds debuutalbum 'Transsiberian', dat tot stand kwam tijdens een reis met de Trans-Siberische spoorlijn, ontwikkelde Thylacine een voorliefde voor componeren door te reizen. Zijn recent verschenen vierde album '9 Pieces' is een verzameling meeslepende tracks, gecomponeerd gedurende zijn reis van de afgelopen jaren. De negen 'puzzelstukken' dompelen de luisteraar onder in Thylacines universum en nemen je mee naar negen bestemmingen, van de bevroren zee in Noorwegen tot de Turkse Bosporus.

How to get to Tolhuistuin

Tolhuistuin (formerly Paradiso Noord) is located at IJpromenade 2 in Amsterdam North. A free ferry runs from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. From there, turn left and you’ll walk straight into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance (Buiksloterweg 5C) is used. This entrance can be reached via Overhoeksplein

Restaurant
Tolhuistuin also has a restaurant where you can enjoy a meal before the show. We recommend making a reservation in advance via this website.
