This Is The Kit is het project van de Britse, in Parijs residerende, alleskunner Kate Stables. Ze maakt door banjo aangedreven folk; prachtige liedjes die verder nog worden versierd met flarden piano, percussie, gitaar, orgel of trompet. In 2008 debuteerde de alternatieve folkband met het album ‘Krulle Bol’, ruim twaalf jaar later is het tijd voor de vijfde langspeler, getiteld ‘Off Off On’. Deze komt in oktober 2020 uit via Rough Trade Records en werd geproduceerd door Josh Kaufman, ook bekend als bandlid van Bonny Light Horseman en Muzz.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
