Sunday, October 26th Two transnational party series, hailing from Amsterdam and Dubai, join forces to present a curation of forward-thinking rhythmic sounds. Alongside their respective founding DJs, Disco Arabesquo and Cascou, the booth will be graced by DJ Plead.

Plead is a producer and DJ based in Berlin, known as a master of rhythm interpretation. Drawing from his Levantine background, he constructs conceptual, percussion-heavy club sounds that resonate with both club kids and veterans.

Cascou, the Dubai-based, Kuwaiti-born DJ and creative, has carved out a singular lane that threads fashion, underground music, and cultural curation with clear vision. His eclectic sets move from proto-house to Balearic B-sides, percussive rarities, Italo dream-house, breakbeats, and Detroit-inspired soulful explorations. Each set reflects his relentless dedication to digging.

Disco Arabesquo, the Amsterdam-grown Egyptian DJ, is known for his sold-out Disco Arabesquo Nights. Starting with cassette tapes, records, and CDs from across the SWANA region, he built nights that fuse Arab and Western genres, past and present. For this special ADE collaboration, he will bring Arab sounds blended with future-leaning Global South rhythms.

How to get to Parallel

Parallel is located at Buiksloterweg 5C in Amsterdam North, at the rear end of the Tolhuistuin building. To get there, catch one of the free ferries departing from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. Upon crossing the IJ river, take an immediate left and cross the Volewijck bridge. Turn right and continue walking until you reach Overhoeksplein. Here, you will find the Galgenveld bridge to your right. Crossing it, you will find the Tolhuistuin archway and Parallel’s entrance.
