They Are Gutting a Body of Water is een eclectische shoegazeband uit Philadelphia, die ooit begon als soloproject van Douglas Dulgarian en uitgroeide tot een sterke viermansformatie. Hun geluid is een electronische, ambient-achtige interpretatie van shoegaze, doorspekt met invloeden uit clubgenres. Met albums zoals 'gestures been', 'Destiny XL', 'lucky styles', en het onlangs uitgebrachte 'LOTTO', bouwt de viermansband gestaag aan een grensverleggende positie binnen de hernieuwde shoegaze-beweging.

How to get to Tolhuistuin

Tolhuistuin (formerly Paradiso Noord) is located at IJpromenade 2 in Amsterdam North. A free ferry runs from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. From there, turn left and you’ll walk straight into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance (Buiksloterweg 5C) is used. This entrance can be reached via Overhoeksplein
