Wegens succes verplaatst naar de grote zaal.

The Young Folk is een jonge Ierse folkgroep die eind vorig jaar het debuutalbum ‘The Little Battle’ uitbracht op het Pixie Pace Record label.  De bandleden omschrijven hun muziek  als “alternative folk”. Bijna alle nummers op het album zijn geschreven door zanger-gitarist Anthony Furey, de zoon van George Furey bekend van de legendarische Ierse  band The Furey Brothers.

HOT PRESS omschrijft de band als: “Serious challengers of the area populated by the likes of Fleet Foxes, Mumford and Sons and The Low Anthem.”

De groep bestaat uit: Anthony Furey (gitaar, zang), Tony McLaughlin (bas , mandoline), Paul Butler (keyboards), Alex Borwick (brass, banjo) en Peter Hopkins (drums).
