The Wombats is een opgewekte Engelse indiepopband uit Liverpool, bekend geworden door hun hit ‘Let’s Dance to Joy Division’. Sinds hun doorbraak op Lowlands-festival in 2008, is de band een vaste waarde geworden in het indiepoplandschap. Na hun succesvolle album 'This Modern Glitch' uit 2011, bleef de band zijn geluid ontwikkelen, met pakkende refreinen en meeslepende popnummers die altijd geschikt zijn voor een dansvloer. Dit jaar hebben ze twee nieuwe singles uitgebracht: 'Blood on the Hospital Floor' en 'Sorry I’m Late, I Didn’t Want to Come'. Beide nummers geven een voorproefje van hun aankomende album, dat in 2025 verschijnt.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
