The Waterboys is sinds de jaren '80 actief. Aan het roer staat de Schotse zanger en gitarist Mike Scott. De band heeft via talloze bezettingen ontwikkeld tot een organisme met een angstaanjagende live reputatie. Met klassiekers als 'The Whole Of The Moon', 'This Is The Sea' en 'Fisherman's Blues' heeft The Waterboys zich verankerd tussen de grote songwriters van de vorige eeuw.

Ook in dit jaar heeft The Waterboys vers bloed in de gelederen. Onder andere de dubbele toetsenisten Brother Paul uit Mephis en James Hallawell uit Cornwall. Daarnaast wordt de band geleid door de Ierse ritmesectie Aongus Ralston en Eamon Ferris. Verwacht drama, improvisatie, muzikaal vuurwerk en echte The Waterboys-klassiekers.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
