In de jazzband The Very Next delen tien ambitieuze muzikanten hun passie voor vernieuwing, verbreding en onontdekte geluiden. Na twaalf maanden van schrijven, schaven en creëren werd het debuutalbum ’10.000 Miles From New Orleans’ in oktober uitgebracht en klimt deze tienkoppige groep langzaamaan naar de top van de Nederlandse jazz. De formatie wordt gedreven door een indrukwekkende blazerssectie die de strijd aan gaat met pop, soul en jazz.
