The Veils, onder leiding van charismatische singer-songwriter en muzikant Finn Andrews, staat bekend om hun intense en goudeerlijke indierocknummers. Sinds hun oprichting in 2001, zijn er zes studioalbums uitgebracht, en hun zevende, 'Asphodels' staat nu op het punt van verschijnen. De titel van het nieuwe album verwijst naar een Oudgriekse bloem en weerspiegelt Andrews' dromerige teksten, die nu meer geïnspireerd zijn door grote dichters dan ooit tevoren. The Veils is geen onbekende bij Paradiso en stond al eerder op London Calling en in de Grote Zaal samen met Fazerdaze. Nu keert de band terug naar de Grote Zaal om hun nieuwe album te presenteren.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
