The Vaccines + Trailer Trash Tracys

The Vaccines verplaatst hun optreden in Paradiso van 14 december naar 3 januari 2012. Omdat het tweede keer is dat het optreden wordt verplaatst geeft de band persoonlijk uitleg in een bericht aan de fans:

I just wanted to write you a note to personally apologise for yet another delay in our attempts to revisit you all. I think, aside from the band, the good people of Holland have suffered more heavily from our throat related problems than our fans anywhere else in the world. And for that we're truly sorry. Fear not though, for this time you will only have to wait a couple of weeks to see us. All is well with my throat. In fact, we're very excited to be realising a dream having been offered a slot performing on the iconic television programme Top Of The Pops here in the UK, and all felt like this was a once in a lifetime opportunity that we could not turn down. I hope you will understand our decision to accept this offer and that you don't mind waiting until the 3rd of January to party with us. As an apology, we have organised a couple of surprises for the gig, which we hope will go some way towards helping you forgive our late arrival. See you all in January. Reeds gekochte kaarten blijven geldig voor de nieuwe datum of kunnen worden teruggebracht naar het voorverkoopadres waar ze gekocht zijn. Bezoekers van The Vaccines kunnen op 14 december wel gratis naar Paradiso voor het officiële voorprogramma van The Vaccines: de aanstormende Britse indieband Trailer Trash Tracys. De band maakt hippe, lo-fi droompop en brengt in januari hun debuutalbum Ester uit op Double Six /Domino Records.
