The Strypes bestaat uit: Ross Farrelly (zang / mondharmonica), Josh McClorey (lead gitaar / zang), Pete O’Hanlon (basgitaar / mondharmonica) en Evan Walsh (drums). Vier hele jonge Ierse schoffies die hele opwindende rythm and blues spelen. Een beetje zoals The Beatles ook deden toen ze heel jong waren. Onlangs werd The Strypes door de NME getipt als één van de ‘Most Exciting New Bands of 2013’. De band tekende onlangs een contract bij Universal voor vijf albums, waarvan de eerste zeer binnenkort uitkomt.
