The Secret Sisters interpreteren het geluid van klassieke country en weten dat uitstekend te combineren met popinvloeden. Het duo wordt gevormd door zussen Lydia en Laura Rogers uit Muscle Shoals, Alabama. Met fluwelen stemmen zingen zij lichtvoetige countrypopliedjes in jaren 50-stijl. Op derde plaat ‘You Don’t Own Me Anymore’ (2017) werd gekozen voor een iets modernere aanpak, zonder daarbij het tijdloze geluid te verliezen. In 2020 keerden The Secret Sisters terug met naar eigen zeggen hun meest ambitieuze album tot nu toe, getiteld ‘Saturn Return’.

How to get to Tolhuistuin

Tolhuistuin (formerly Paradiso Noord) is located at IJpromenade 2 in Amsterdam North. A free ferry is departing from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. Turn left and you’ll walk into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance is used (Buiksloterweg 5C), which can be reached via the Overhoeksplein.

Restaurant
Tolhuistuin also has a restaurant in which you can have a bite before the show. We advise to make a reservation in advance via this website.
