Paradiso presenteert The Orwells in Bitterzoet. Adres: Spuistraat 2, Amsterdam.
The Orwells is een pittige garagerockband uit Chicago. De heren hebben in één jaar tijd een indrukwekkende livereputatie opgebouwd. Niet alleen op de grotere showcasefestivals als SXSW, Coachella en The Great Escape, maar ook in de veelbesproken tv-show van David Letterman. De band maakt gruizige, energieke gitaarrock waarbij de zaal binnen korte tijd wordt omgebouwd tot springende, zwetende massa. Dit jaar komt het debuutalbum ‘Disgraceland’ uit, met producer Dave Sitek (Yeah Yeah Yeahs, TV On the Radio) aan boord.
