The Opposites is een rapduo bestaande uit Big2 en Willem. Er is veel gebeurd sinds ze in 2005 doorbraken met de hits ‘Fok Jou’ en 'Slaap' van het album 'De Fik Er In'. Het duo groeide uit tot één van de grootste Nederlandstalige hiphop acts uit de geschiedenis. Na standaard uitverkochte album tours en headline shows op de grootste festivals van ons land, stopte de act in 2014.

Vijf jaar later schreeuwden de koppen ‘The Opposites keren éénmalig terug op Appelsap’. Willem en Twan werden zelf zo overdonderd door hun reünie show in Amsterdam, dat ze een uitnodiging voor een intieme surprise show in Lowlands’ Sexyland de week daarop, niet konden weerstaan. Het festival stond wederom finaal op z’n kop. Dit was voor het duo het duwtje in de rug om vaker te spelen voor eigen publiek. Na eerder dit jaar de Gashouder in Amsterdam drie keer te hebben uitverkocht, komen de heren op oudjaarsdag naar Paradiso voor hun laatste show van het jaar.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
