De paden van muzikanten kruisen elkaar regelmatig tijdens tours, maar ook tijdens creatieve processen. Bij de leden van supergroep The Magpie Salute is dat niet anders, want al decennialang kennen ze elkaar. Recent besloten ze de koppen bij elkaar te steken om hun gezamenlijke project van de grond te krijgen.

Rich Robinson, gitarist en mede-oprichter van The Black Crowes speelt in de band samen met gitarist Marc Ford, Sven Pipien (beiden ook van The Black Crowes), Joe Magistro en Nico Bereciartua. Vocaal bestaat de band uit leadsinger John Hogg (bekend van Hookah Brown en de Britse Moke), voormalig Crowes-zangeres Charity White.

The Magpie Salute brengt het beste van deze bands samen. Verwacht dus catchy gitaarwerk en een flinke dosis bluesy rock ‘n’ roll.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
