The Leisure Society uit Groot-Brittannië maakt wonderschone (nu)folkmuziek en past daarom heel goed in het rijtje: Fleet Foxes, Grizzly Bear, Arcade Fire en Department of Eagles. Sublieme meerstemmige samenzang, à la the Beach Boys, wordt ondersteund door simpele pianoakkoorden, gitaar en bas. Rijkelijk aangevuld met viool, cello, fluit, mandoline en klokkenspel - zonder overdadig te worden. The Leisure Society heeft een hang naar romantiek en de teksten raken de luisteraar recht in het hart.
