De vier Ierse schoolvrienden Craig, Dean en de broers Matt en Stephen zijn druk bezig om de wereld te veroveren met hun aanstekelijke indiepop. Grootse refreinen, hoekige gitaarpartijen en opgewekte teksten; The Academic weet van elk nummer een hit te maken. De afgelopen paar jaar brachten ze een aantal singles uit welke ondertussen miljoenen keren gestreamd zijn. Ze speelden op veel grote festivals en verzorgden al het voorprogramma van bands als Twenty One Pilots en The Strokes.

Bitterzoet is located close to Amsterdam Central station. From there you can walk to the venue. There are limited and busy parking lots in the area.
