De excentrieke Nicholas Durocher, ook wel TALK, is een Canadese singer-songwriter uit een creatieve familie. Zijn vader is regisseur en cameraman en zijn broer staat op Broadway. Op jonge leeftijd raakt hij geïnteresseerd in muziek en leert piano, gitaar, drum, bas, banjo, harmonica en mandoline spelen. Met zijn uitbundige popmuziek en voorkomen weet hij luisteraars aan zich te binden en stond met zijn krachtige stemgeluid al in het voorprogramma van Shania Twain, Imagine Dragons, Young The Giant en Milky Chance. Ondertussen werkt hij hard aan een debuutalbum, waarop zowel emotionele ballads als uitgesproken pop zal staan. De voorbeelden van TALK zijn Elton John, Freddie Mercury en Guns N Roses.

How to get to Tolhuistuin

Tolhuistuin (formerly Paradiso Noord) is located at IJpromenade 2 in Amsterdam North. A free ferry is departing from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. Turn left and you’ll walk into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance is used (Buiksloterweg 5C), which can be reached via the Overhoeksplein.

Restaurant
Tolhuistuin also has a restaurant in which you can have a bite before the show. We advise to make a reservation in advance via this website.
