Sun Kil Moon is de band rondom songwriter en producer Mark Kozelek en wordt al jaren geprezen en bewonderd. Uiterst productief als hij is staat de band al tien albums sterk. In welke samenstelling dan ook, de liedjes van Kozelek laten zich vangen in de donkere hoek van het muzikale spectrum; zijn teksten zijn treurig, melancholisch, soms tragikomisch. Zijn meest recente album kwam uit in maart 2019, getiteld ‘I Also Want To Die In New Orleans’. Het werd samen met drummer Jim White en saxophonist Donny McCaslin opgenomen, waardoor ook jazzinvloeden in de instrumentatie terug te horen zijn.

How to get to Tolhuistuin

Tolhuistuin (formerly Paradiso Noord) is located at IJpromenade 2 in Amsterdam North. A free ferry runs from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. From there, turn left and you’ll walk straight into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance (Buiksloterweg 5C) is used. This entrance can be reached via Overhoeksplein

Restaurant
Tolhuistuin also has a restaurant where you can enjoy a meal before the show. We recommend making a reservation in advance via this website.
