Sugar (Shoe-gar)* is an open minded party connecting the LGBTQ+ sounds and ballroom scenes of Beirut, Athens and Istanbul. Expect the sounds of the famous scene clubs and hidden parties, house and disco, with electronic Arabic to pumping Turkpop, and from Greek çiftetelli to hiphop beats from the orient and beyond! These cities are connected through historical, cultural, social and musical ties and Sugar brings all these connections to the stage with DJs, shows, performances and art.

* Sugar means nice, great, hot in the secret gay language of ancient and modern İstanbul.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
