Gitarist en zanger Steve Gunn maakt al geruime tijd indruk met zijn muzikantschap. De altijd nuchtere virtuoos uit New York timmert al zo'n vijftien jaar aan de weg, speelde bij Kurt Vile & The Violators en heeft een groot aantal solo-, duo- en ensemble-albums op zijn naam staan. Zijn sprankelende gitaarspel en kenmerkende stem vormen de basis van zijn uitgesponnen folkrock met Americana-invloeden. Voor de aandachtige luisteraar valt er ook invloed van blues, vrije jazz en psychedelische aspecten in zijn muziek te herkennen.

How to get to Tolhuistuin

Tolhuistuin (formerly Paradiso Noord) is located at IJpromenade 2 in Amsterdam North. A free ferry is departing from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. Turn left and you’ll walk into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance is used (Buiksloterweg 5C), which can be reached via the Overhoeksplein.

Restaurant
Tolhuistuin also has a restaurant in which you can have a bite before the show. We advise to make a reservation in advance via this website.
