Op zondag 30 mei speelt Stef Kamil Carlens solo in de grote zaal van Paradiso. Het concert is toegankelijk voor 250 bezoekers en er zijn alleen zitplaatsen beschikbaar.

Zita Swoon-oprichter en oud-dEUS bandlid Stef Kamil Carlens klinkt als herboren. In zijn soloshows omringt hij zich met een keur aan opmerkelijke instrumenten, van gitaren naar een houten basharmonium tot aan vintage synths, orgeltjes en drummachines. De muzikant staat dan wel alleen op het podium, maar soms lijkt het net of er een volledige band staat te spelen.
Met zijn eerste soloplaat ‘Stuck In The Status Quo’ maakte Stef Kamil Carlens in 2017 zijn succesvolle rentree in het popcircuit als soloartiest. Sindsdien gaat het bijzonder goed met de Antwerpse liedjeskunstenaar. In 2019 kwam de opvolger ‘Making Sense Of Infinity’ uit, die door pers en publiek positief onthaald werd.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
