In 1994 opende Victor Rodrigues Pereira het allereerste Stand-Up Comedy café van Nederland op het Max Euweplein Amsterdam. Jarenlang stond het Max Euweplein bekend als de hotspot voor Stand-Up Comedy Nederland. Voor het eerst word nu een 2-daags festival georganiseerd ter herinnering van deze legendarische locatie: Het Comedy Festival Max Euweplein. Als klap op de vuurpijl sluit het weekend zich af in de iconische poptempel Paradiso. De show? STAND UP AMSTERDAM! Een show gevuld met vlijmscherpe jokes van Nederlands beste comedians.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
