De afgelopen periode heeft Speedy J zich schuilgehouden in een Rotterdamse bunker vol elektronische apparatuur. Hieruit is STOOR geboren, een project waarbij het registreren en documenteren van livesessies met verschillende artiesten centraal staat. De mooiste momenten zijn vastgelegd op gelimiteerde vinyluitgaven, maar daarnaast worden ook volledig geïmproviseerde sessies live gestreamd. Tijdens ADE brengt Speedy J zijn concept naar het podium; STOOR live wordt een jam tussen wisselende muzikanten en videokunstenaars.
Speciaal voor STOOR live heeft Karl Klomp een stage en video design gemaakt dat de grens tussen publiek en artiest vervaagt. Door middel van robotcamera’s en videohardware hacks op een LED video-object worden beeld en geluid een symbiose van ongebreidelde electronica.
Voordat de sessie van start gaat, weet niemand exact wat er gaat gebeuren, maar dat een stage vol analoge apparatuur in combinatie met ervaren handen een magische audiovisuele trip oplevert, is zeker.

How to get to Paradiso
Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.Â
